About Korea....

Hi,today we will tell you about our country, "Korea".
First, we'll tell you about Korean food, "Kimchi".
Kimchi is the korean tradition food. So many people in korea like Kimchi and they eat everyday with rice. Kimchi is delicious but when you taste it, you will think it is a little spicy. But Kimchi is one of good food, and it is good for our health. Because, there are very good things in it.
Second, we'll tell you about Korean stick game, "Yut" and, another game, "Top".
When chusuk(it is one of the traditional day in korea), we play yut with our family. Yut is one of korean traditional game. Yut looks like stick and we play yut game with five yut. We throw five yut, and then we move our team's glass stone. If team go to end place, that team will win. It very fun and nice. We can do it in free time. Ane we will tell you about top. we play it in new year's day. we hit the top to use the rope. And we have to hit the top on the ice. It is little hard to hit the top. But it is fun too. If you go korea later, you can play yut and top.
Bye!~

Hola from Chile!

Hey guys

Just a quick hello in case some of you are checking in for the photos I promised. Unfortunately, you´ll have to wait until I get back to see those. I have some magic ones that you will love!

Being in Chile has been so incredible! We just spent the last two days in a little town in the desert and hung out with locals who played fantastic music by night around a campfire! Hot pools the next day in the moutains, in the desert, and then we biked back 40 km to where we were staying - quite crazy with the thin atmosphere (we were at 2500 metres above sea level - there isn´t as much oxygen in the air.)

Hope you are all having a great holiday. I look forward to seeing you in Term III - though it seems a long way away for me at the moment - heading into Peru tomorrow!

Take care
Theresa
